Greenlanders don't like being under Danish rule. You rarely see Danish flags there except on government buildings. They prefer flying their own flag.

On November 27, 2004 the capital and largest city Nuuk opened a new bigger better airport to boost tourism.

Since Trump has been back and talking he has majorly boosted tourism there. They mostly welcome the tourism.

Pituffik Space Base formerly Thule Air Base is a United States Space Force base located on the northwest coast of Greenland in the Kingdom of Denmark under a defense agreement between Denmark and the United States. Denmark was a founding member of NATO in 1949 and the 1951 Greenland Defense Agreement allowed the United States to operate the base under a NATO framework. Under the agreement the Danish national flag must be side by side with the US national flag on the base.

Remember Trump started the Space Force a branch of the Airforce. This base used to be Air Force. There's already great strides for the USA to claim protection over the North Pole region where China that has no access up there and Russia has been taking over. Trump is looking out for the USA first with his Greeland thing. But he is not a dictator. The left lie.

My research on Greenland I don't believe the majority of Greenlanders want to be part of America either but most want independence. I say let them have a vote on it. But I think they are smart enough to work out other agreements with the USA like so many countries and businesses are doing under Trump!
