Most Americans think the USA is a young country and have an idea that all European countries are old because we gained independence from England in 1776. It shocks people when they learn how young of a country Ukraine is. They may know Ukraine gained Independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. But they assume Ukraine has a long nation history before that. No. Not as an official nation. They were only briefly independent as the Ukraine People's Republic from 1917-1919 before Bolsheviks from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia created the USSR. Cossacks in the 1600s-1800s believed in a nation that didn't exist yet and so did various writers and artists, etc.
The Slavics and Scandinavians had a nation in the 800s to 1200s AD called Kyivan Rus under a Royal family called the Rurik Dynasty or the Rurikids. Most of their leaders were of this family including Vladimir the first or Vladmir the Great who brought in Christianity. And his son Yuroslav the Wise who built the Orthodox church still standing today in downtown Kviv seen on the news. Kyiv was the second and last capital of this empire after Novgorod in modern day Russia. The Kingdom of Kyivan Rus expanded from Ukraine through western Russia, Belarus and the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia) it was destroyed by the Mongols.
The truth is the region known today as Ukraine has been under a lot of rule. It's an area with rich soil, they could feed all of Europe but always under oppression and an area called a steppe. The Greeks, Scythians, Bulgars, Huns, Alans, Ottoman Empire, etc were all in the area. It's always been divided with an east and west faction too. Crimea was the Crimean Khanate with khans as leaders until Russia annexed it in 1783. In 1954 Krushchev gave Crimea as a gift to the Ukraine SSR but Russia had a lease and had a military base there the whole time. They voted to join Russia in 2014. The natives of Crimea are Tatars a Turkic people. Russians are the largest people group there after Stalin deported Tatars after he suspected them of conspiring with Nazi Germany.
Ukraine has a turbulent history of small parts of Ukraine being independent such as in the west, Galicia and Vollynia. But most of Ukraine was under other rule for years including the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Russia Federation Rule.
After World War 2 the borders of Europe were redrawn but there was no nation of Ukraine it was still a region of Soviet Union. For hundreds of years under the cossacks and authors or early Ukrainian literature in the 1600s-1800s a Ukraine nation was a concept and not on the map. The deep state has been over there shaping their country since 1991 independence and trusting the USA and NATO the whole time. While the east more Russian got more divided.
I know people would say if they are Russian go to Russia. It's not that simple. There are nations and races. Russian is also a race not just a nationality like Jewish and Israeli. There are also Ukrainians in Russian. In 1991 all oblasts (republics or states) wanted and voted for independence. The division was created by the globalists. Ukraine is about 76% Ukrainian 23% Russian and 1% other like Jews, Hungarians, Poles, Czechs, Bulgarians, etc, etc.
The left is pathetic. No mention that Kash Patel is the first Asian and Indian FBI director from Uganda immigrant parents.
I don't give a flying fuck how Democrats feel about anything! They didn't complain when Biden was in there, they thought Kamala would make a good president and they're upset what Trump and Elon are doing! My liberal dad said me and my mom and uncle live in an alternate reality. No liberals like him do!
